LoRa (Long Range) is a communication protocol and suitable for long-distance communication (up to +/-16 km in line of sight) with very little power. To set up your own LoRa network locally, a gateway is required. With the one-time purchase of the gateway, you avoid monthly provider fees per data logger. With JRI's gateway, you set up your own LoRa network within your building or business park to read LoRa SPY data loggers within MySirius. The gateway can be installed on a local Ethernet network or via 4G (excluding data SIM card). The gateway retrieves the measurement data and sends this data to the MySirius application. The MySirius application is available in JRI's secure Cloud environment or its own local server.
