How to measure leaks and condensation?

1-6 of 6

Condensation and leakage can cause major damage, through short circuits, for example. In cooling ceilings and other cooling systems, condensation can form due to temperature changes that can cause drop formation and possibly leakage. By detecting condensation early, cooling can be shut down before leakage occurs. Even with air handling units or server rooms, a lot of damage can be prevented by getting immediate notification when a leak occurs.

Flowline optical leak detection switch series LO10

SKU 2023038
The Switch-Tek LO10 optical level switch provides reliable leak detection in and around wells, tanks and piping systems. The 1A relay contact switches on detection of, among other things, sulfuric acid, water and diesel. The submersible polypropylene or PFA leak detection sensor can be mounted through a tank wall or in a room.

Leak detection switch DIN rail mounting series VVK2

SKU 2026133

The VVK2 series leak detection switches detect leaks in cooling systems and central heating installations in buildings. The VVK2 can be mounted on a DIN rail and provides an alarm contact when a leak is detected. Leak detection sensors can be selected separately, with versions available for floor and pipe mounting. Multiple leak detection sensors can be connected in parallel.

Leak detection switch for wall mounting series LPH10

SKU 2021516

The LPH10 series leak detection switches detect leaks in cooling systems and central heating installations in buildings. The LPH10 can be mounted on the wall in a room and provides an alarm contact when a leak is detected. In addition to the relay signal, an indicator light will turn on and an audible alarm will sound. Leak detection sensors can be selected separately, with versions availabl...

Leak detection sensors for VVK2 and LPH10 series VVA-VVN

SKU 2021602

The VVA and VVN series leak detection sensors are compatible with the LPH10 and VVK2 series leak detection switches. Various versions are available for floor mounting or installation under a water pipe. By mounting the sensor beneath a cooling pipe, condensation can also be detected.

Condensation switch for cooling systems series KA10

SKU 2026131

The KA10 is a condensation switch specially developed for cooling systems, such as chilled ceilings. The KA10 features a 0–10V output for reading the level of condensation via a building management system (BMS). In addition, it has a relay contact output for connection to the HLS44 series room controllers. This allows the cooling control to be interrupted immediately when condensation forms...

Condensation sensor for cooling systems series KEK1

SKU 2024749

The KEK1 is a simple passive condensation sensor. The sensor has a resistive output that provides a signal of approximately 10kOhm when condensation forms. It can be connected to the R102 and RS102 room controllers. The KEK1 sensor then ensures that the control of a chilled ceiling is interrupted when condensation forms on the cooling system.
