The IGP50S series is a very robust and extremely accurate gauge pressure transmitter within the Schneider Electric range and is SIL2 certified as standard. The IGP50S measures a relative pressure with an accuracy of 0.025% of the reading. Thanks to the special FoxCal technology, one transmitter has no less than 11 calibration curves in a pressure range of 0-414 bar. This allows the same model IGP50S pressure transmitter to be used for multiple measuring ranges, without loss of accuracy. Useful options are the yellow and red colored rings with which color codes can easily be applied in a factory for SIL classifications, for example.
Schneider pressure transmitters are available with gold sensors, making them suitable for hydrogen applications. Gold is chosen for its excellent chemical stability and resistance to corrosion, even in demanding environments such as hydrogen. It is inert, prevents reactions with hydrogen molecules, and minimizes the risk of brittleness or leakage. This makes gold an ideal material for sensors in hydrogen applications.
