De IMT31A vormt het signaal van een magnetische flowbuis om naar een 4-20mA, Hart, Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, of Profibus PA en DP. De IMT31A is geschikt voor explosieveilige zones (Ex i) als deze wordt gecombineerd met de 9500A of 96700A flowbuizen.
